Commerce

Commerce is the operations center for merchants who sell through conversations — WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok — rather than through a traditional online store. It holds your catalog, your stock, your orders, your payments, and your shipping in one place, and it puts an AI agent in front of the parts that repeat: answering buyers, drafting campaigns, chasing confirmations.

The split is deliberate. The agent proposes and executes; you approve anything that spends money.

Commerce lives at commerce.destesi.io. Sign in once at account.destesi.io and your session follows you across the suite — open Commerce from the 9-dot launcher in any product. Everything you see belongs to your active workspace.

The interface is available in English and Spanish. Use the ES | EN toggle in the top bar; your choice is remembered on that device.

Commerce checks four things before it will run orders, and tells you which are still missing. Work through them in Settings — the app links you to each one.

  1. Business profile (Settings → Perfil). Your business name, tax id, and contact details. These appear on what your buyers and carriers see.

  2. Warehouse and origin (Settings → Bodega). Where you ship from. Without an origin address, shipping cannot be quoted at all.

  3. Payments (Settings → Pagos). Turn on at least one way to get paid — a Wompi account for cards and PSE, bank transfer, or cash on delivery. See Getting paid.

  4. Connections. Connect at least one channel — WhatsApp or Meta Ads — in Connect. This is what gives the agent a way to reach buyers.

Until setup is complete, Orders, Customers, Campaigns, and Logistics show you what is missing instead of an empty screen. Navigation is never locked — you can always look around.

Open Productos → New product. A product carries a name, description, price, images, a category and — importantly for shipping — its weight. Categories are a fixed list (Dama, Hombre, Bebé y niños, Calzado, Otros mercados): you pick one and it is created for you the first time you use it. A cut, style, colour or size — skinny, bota recta, oversize — is not a category; those are variants, below. Products with no weight cannot be quoted for delivery.

If the same product sells in several sizes or colors, add variants. Each variant carries its own stock count and can carry its own price. Stock is tracked per variant, and it is the number the rest of the system defends: an order can never be created for more units than you have.

Already have a catalog somewhere else? Import takes a spreadsheet and creates products in bulk.

Orders arrive one of three ways: the agent creates one during a WhatsApp conversation, you create one by hand from the cockpit, or a buyer completes a checkout link you sent them.

However it starts, the sequence is the same:

  1. Stock is reserved. Creating an order holds the units for 30 minutes by default. If payment doesn’t arrive in that window, the reservation is released and the stock goes back on the shelf — no manual cleanup.

  2. The buyer pays. A Wompi payment link for cards and PSE, a bank transfer, or cash on delivery. See Getting paid.

  3. The order is marked paid — by evidence, never by a redirect. A buyer landing on a “thank you” page proves nothing. Commerce only accepts a verified payment webhook, a confirmed bank deposit, or a carrier reporting cash collected.

  4. You ship it. Quote carriers, buy the label, and hand the package over. The order moves to fulfilled when it’s delivered.

Every order carries a timeline — what happened, when, and what triggered it — plus the buyer conversation that produced it.

Commerce resolves how you get paid in a fixed order of precedence, and shows you which one is active under Settings → Pagos:

Mode What the buyer does
Your own Wompi account Pays a card or PSE payment link. Money lands in your account.
Bank transfer Transfers to your account — optionally by scanning a Bre-B QR code carrying your llave.
Cash on delivery Pays the carrier at the door. The order settles when the carrier confirms delivery.

Bank transfers are confirmed for you where possible: connect Gmail in Connect and Commerce matches the deposit notification to the order automatically. When it can’t match one, it asks you on WhatsApp — a yes is all it takes. Nothing is marked paid on a buyer’s say-so.

Connect WhatsApp and the sales agent answers buyers directly: it shows the catalog, answers questions about a product, checks stock, builds an order, and sends the payment link. It works from your real catalog and real stock, so it cannot sell you into an oversell.

It hands over rather than guessing. When a conversation goes somewhere it shouldn’t decide — or when your monthly agent allowance is spent — the thread is marked needs human, the buyer is told a person will follow up, and it appears in Customers for you to answer.

Chat in Commerce is the merchant-facing cockpit — a different agent from the one talking to buyers, with tools that act on your business: create and edit products, adjust stock, look up an order, draft a campaign, quote a shipment, message a customer.

Seven of those tools stop and ask you first, and they are exactly the ones that move money:

  • activating a campaign, changing its budget, or publishing it
  • creating a payment link
  • buying a shipping label
  • sending a WhatsApp message
  • topping up your ads wallet

Everything else runs without interrupting you. The gate follows the money, not the risk of being wrong.

Logística quotes carriers for an order, buys the guía, and tracks it to delivery. Quotes need three things: your warehouse origin, the buyer’s address, and a weight on every product in the order.

For teams with someone else packing boxes, the dispatch queue is a link you can hand to your warehouse — it lists what’s ready to go and lets them accept jobs without a Destesi login.

  • Campañas creates paid campaigns for Meta, Google, and TikTok. Saved audiences are separate per provider: Meta criteria never become TikTok ids, and each destination snapshots its own selection.
  • Estrategias turns your catalog and sales history into concrete plays to run next.
  • Clientes is the inbox of conversations that need a human, plus who has bought what.
