Design — Edit your shop

Your shop is a Design project. Open it from Commerce (Design the shop) and it lands on Sections, with the live preview beside it; from Projects, pick Sections at the top of the left column.

The menu above the preview lists every page your shop serves: Home, Catalog, Product, the policy pages and any page you added. Pick one and the preview goes there; Sections follows it.

Product and Category are one layout each, shown with one of your real products. What you change there shows on every product (or category) page. The second menu picks which product the preview shows.

New page asks for a name only. Its address comes from the name (Sobre nosotros → /sobre-nosotros), and it can add a link to the header menu for you. The assistant builds it in about a minute, then you arrange it like any page.

  • Add block — pick from the catalog (banners, product grids, promos, text, trust). It lands at the end of the page.
  • Move — drag the handle, or focus it and use the arrow keys.
  • Edit — click a block (in the list, or Pick a block and click it in the preview), change its fields, Save.
  • Duplicate, Hide (it stays in the list, crossed out) and Remove — the buttons on the row.

Header and Footer are shared by every page. Until you customize them your shop shows defaults filled from Commerce; Customize the header / footer turns them into blocks you edit the same way.

Product grids and photos come live from Commerce: change prices, stock and product photos there, not here.

Every link field in a block’s form suggests your shop’s pages. Pick one to point a button at it.

  • A page with no blocks (search results, the policy pages) is drawn by code: describe the change to the Assistant.
  • A block with a lock was written by hand: it moves and is removed, but has no form.
  • Anything else — a new kind of block, a layout no form offers — Ask on the block, or the Assistant tab. For example: “Add a FAQ about shipping times under the products”, “Make the header logo smaller on phones”.

Images holds the photos you upload (resized automatically). Image fields pick from them, from your catalog, or your shop’s logo and banner.

  • Save shows the change in this preview only.
  • Publish puts the preview on your live shop. Live site opens it.
  • History lists every change and every publish: Restore brings back an earlier version, Make current puts an earlier publish live again.
